My System

Re: Vista crash while encoding video

Hi -

I ran the 6 mini kernel dumps. The results:

(4) 0x50 - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA = invalid system memory referenced. Probable cause for all = MS GUI win32k.sys

(1) 1000008e (0xc0000005, 0x81e66842, 0xa5bcdc54, 0x0), probable cause = ntkrpamp.exe - the NT Kernel.

0x1000008e is the same as 0x8e = KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED = a kernel-mode application generated an exception not caught by the error handler. The exception here is the 1st parm - 0xc0000005 = STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION - a memory access violation.

(1) 0x1 (0x8202ec76, 0x0, 0xffff, 0x0), probable cause = ntkrpamp.exe - the NT Kernel.

0x1 = APC_INDEX_MISMATCH = internal kernel error. Most common when a file system or a driver has a mismatched number of calls to disable and re-enable APCs.

I would suggest that you run Memtest86+ as bugchecks 0x50 and 0x8e are usually indicative of a RAM issue. Also run chkdsk /r in case paged pool involved.

From the software side, a few drivers got my attention -
Code:
8cce8000 8ccef000 elagopro elagopro.sys Mon Mar 05 03:54:43 2007 (45EBDAD3)
9bb91000 9bb92500 elaunidr elaunidr.sys Sun Feb 18 13:31:02 2007 (45D89B66)

8cc70000 8cc71440 AsIO AsIO.sys Wed Dec 21 03:55:21 2005 (43A91879)

8ca76000 8ca77000 avgclean avgclean.sys Mon Dec 03 07:09:01 2007 (4753F1DD)
8cc6b000 8cc6ff40 avgmfx86 avgmfx86.sys Mon Dec 03 22:13:43 2007 (4754C5E7)

9cd74000 9cd7a000 pgfilter pgfilter.sys Sun Sep 18 21:02:52 2005 (432E0E3C)

82ba8000 82bfa000 ADIHdAud ADIHdAud.sys Tue Jan 16 11:41:49 2007 (45AD004D)
These s/b updated if possible.

elagopro.sys - Linksys Easylink Advisor
elaunidr.sys - " "
asio.sys - related to Asus - ?
avgclean.sys - AVG 7.5 - outdated version
avgmfx86.sys - " "
pgfilter.sys - Phoenix Labs PEERGUARDIAN2 software
ADIHdAud.sys - SoundMAX HD Audio - see Audio DXDiag listing at end of post

AVG 8 has been out for months now... I suggest that you un-install AVG 7.5 and install AVG 8.

Finally, I would advise that you get rid of COMODO - it has been responsible for many BSODs that I have seen.

Bugcheck Summary below; full dump logs attached.
