i own dell vostro 1510 and use windows xp. i cant access internet even though it clearly shows that i m connected to the wi-fi. the reason probably is "network adapter not installed" which is continuously displayed on the screen.

i have already reinstalled all the wireless connected drivers and utilities i got with the laptop. i tried following the troubleshooting manager and updating the adapter though the device manager but the inter(R) pro/wireless network card is not even listed here.

i searched the dell and intel support sites to download the card set up but nothing i got there could help me to solve the problem.

can anyone here help me please?
