Re: Stop_Check Error

Any dumps from the BSOD? Any info from BSOD screen - looking for bugcheck (0x0000....) and driver name if there - abc123.sys??

I looked through drivers again - it appears your Ethernet driver is as old as the audio drivers were -
Code:
 NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller
c:\windows\system32\drivers\nvenetfd.sys (1.00.00.05009, 33.25 KB (34,048 bytes),

NVENETFD NVIDIA nForce Networki NVIDIA nForce Networki Kernel Manual
Running OK TRUE FALSE 0.00 22,016.00 0.00 7/29/2005 8:11:01 PM
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\NVENETFD.sys 1,664.00
This one could definitiely be the reason why Firefox is crashing - you've got brand new XP SP3 kernel drivers and the above 2005 NVIDIA NIC driver - a kernel mode driver & a boot driver. They would definitely be at the top of my list right now - see if you can find update for NVIDIA nForce Network (NIC)
