I have used Firefox for ages, but downloaded Chrome as it seems like it is taking Firefox forever to load. From my desktop Firefox takes 16 seconds to load, Chrome 3 sec. Within this forum it appears to be 2-3 times as fast.

I am using Firefox 2 as Firefox 3 kept hanging. However Firefox 2 has been annoying, and seems slower than IE, so perhaps there is something residual confusing Firefox on my computer.

I had also noticed that when playing a video that Firefox uses up more of the computer resources than IE, it appears that Chrome uses less than either. (Didn't solve my problem of lousy sound though except to know that it happens when the computer is not at capacity!)
