Acer TM2303LCi- Resource Conflict?

I just recently reinstalled Windows XP Pro, sp 3- there were a few problems arising previous to this, but since the fresh install, I've yet to have my laptop connect to or even find any wireless signals.
In the post screen during startup, i recieve an error message.. "Resource Conflict- PCI Network Controller on Motherboard Bus:02, Device:04, Function:00" .. and the options to go into bios or continue. The bios on this system is useless... and I've been through everything on the desktop, device manager, administrative tools, etc- I have no clue what the **** is wrong with this thing. I had been assuming the driver files, but I've gone through everything I had available- the one which worked originally when I first got the system doesn't even now. The Wireless adapter details that I can provide Are "transmitter module:Ambit T60N871"- device manager registers the card at first as "ethernet controller"; in addition to everything previously mentioned, I can't seem to find and install drivers for two other items- In the device manager they're listed as "ethernet controller" and "pci modem"; I've downloaded drivers from the acer website and They've gotten me absolutely no where.... my lappy is useless to me unless It can connectto the net.. Someone help, please? Before I break it for good?
