Toshiba Laptop wont turn on

Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5881
Windows Vista

Ok, im pretty computer literate, but i cannot fix my laptop. i was on my laptop, viewing an sd card with the build in sd card reader (the first time ive ever used it) when the computer just turned off. The AC power was plugged in, so i was confused and tried restarting, but nothing happened.

There are 5 LEDs on the laptop. plug, power, battery, HDD, and another (mayb SD?). When i plug in the AC adapter the plug LED turns green, and if the battery is in, the battery turns orange which signifies its charging.
If i try to turn the computer on, the power LED flashes really fast, but then all of the LEDs go off. They stay off until i take out the battery and adapter and hold the power button to get rid of leftover charge. Ive tried taking out the RAM, and the HDD, but neither help. Any ideas??

Thanks

PS: there is no sound of the computer trying to boot, and no fans spin.
