you might have a tuffie here .............. OEM system builders dont generally offer bios files that will allow cpu upgrades ....... their bios files are in support of only the original spec at time of sale ................... you could research which motherboard your system has ........ then buy a bios chip from a third party vendor like the ones on ebay or biosdepot or biosman.com ....................

this is not a guarantee it will work ............ I have had the best luck of all in this manner when trying to make an OEM system giddie-up ..............

use cpu-z (free) to find out which motherboard your system has
