ESystem 3086 G335 series Laptop

Hi ALl, new here

A friend of mine has broken her Broadband port and requires internet access urgently, i told her to get a PCMCIA adapter and that would override the onboard connection for her broadband. She lives along way away from me and i havent seen the notebook but after her going out and buying one she advises me that the above notebook doesnt have a PCMCIA port on it, i cant belive this to be true but maybe it is??

can anyone advise me if this particular notebook does or doesnt have a slot, and if not can they advise me of another way to get her connected to the web without using the onboard LAN slot? USB or someing?/

i cant find anything on the web for it, i think it maybe an advent laptop?

Sorry for sounding a numpty but i really want to get this sorted for her prior to xmas.

andy sensible replies are very much appreciated
