Thanks for the response.
The original one seems to have an extender type connector on all the pins except the 2 that are back set, is it possible that this should be removed and placed on the new one? this would make everything line up correctly in the caddy as well. I don't want to go pulling on it if I'm mistaken.
On the old one, if i look with a magnifying glass, the black extender says:
48kpa foxconn.
