[SOLVED] Trying to install XP, might need a driver for the hard drive

Hi
I believe this is the right forum for this problem, if it is not feel free to move it.

I recently purchased one of these systems:
http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/sy...r_X5-5900_Note

With the intention of installing XP on it (dual booted with ubuntu).
First of all i installed ubuntu, then i used the partition manager to create a separate partition of free space for XP. I popped in the XP CD, it went through the usual starting process, until at the bottom it said 'starting windows' then i got a type of BSOD, saying windows had to shut down so as not to cause damage to the computer. Then it asked if i had installed any new hardware recently, then advising me to check for viruses (on an OS that wasen't even installed yet), recommending i did F check disk, and something else about the hard drive i don't remember. I tried as again with anther XP CD with the same thing happening.

It didn't specifically say i needed to get a driver for XP.
But i remember when i installed XP on a previous computer it needed to have a driver for the Hard drive slip streamed in before it wouldn't detect the hard drive. I was hoping someone could help me find out if i need to do a similar thing now, and if so help me locate the driver.
