Hi,

I was able to delete all of the quarantined items in Symantec and the output of the clean.bat was "Deleted Successfully!". My computer appear to be running fine now. No redirect of my home page and no Windows firewall alert for the Sinowal virus.

Thank you very much for your assistance. Over the past few weeks, I have had a number of external drives attached/unattached to my computer. Should I check to be sure they are also not infected? If so, how? Also, why didn't Symantec pickup the nasty virus originally? Should I be using a different anti-virus program?
