I was halfway through a Kaspersky scan (2hours 43 minutes) when the Symantec Endpoint Autoprotect kicked up an alert on the 3 Virtumonde trojans, which killed the Kaspersky scan even though I disabled Symantec Endpoint Protection. 2 questions: is it safe to remove Symantec Enpoint Protection while running Kaspersky, or do I need to reload spywareblaster as some minimal protection and then run the Kaspersky scan again.

Please advise. I will not proceed without your advice on this.
