Solaris 5? Why so old? Solaris 10 was out many years ago. Check http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/specs.jsp to see if your machine will run it. Somewhere on that page there should be a link to an x86 HCL that might have more info.

You might also be interested in OpenSolaris. If Solaris 10 won't install on your machine, you might want to check OpenSolaris.
