Hi - sent off for new RAM - requested 1GB 533MHz DDR2 SODIMM MEM16 but received 1GB 533MHz DDR SODIMM MEM16.

I did not notice this till after installing it. It recognises the new DDR but ignores my old DDR2 512Mb stick.
I hope this is reason for the problem.
I am running Satellite Toshiba L100-179, XP (SP3)
Any ideas? Am I right in my diagnosis?
