This is when is not giving me any connection to the internet. I try opening a website and the system gets to a blank page but never downloads the actual page. For instance I open my home page "Yahoo". The computer opens the browser and gives me a blank page and after a few moments it says something like connection timed out or something like that. but if I re-start the modem and router then the as soon as those two are up and running, the browser loads the pages really fast.
I think it is a problem between the router and the modem; and I leaning towards the modem because I think if it was the router then the computer would loose the ip address. Am I right or what do you think?
