In your bios go to the area that detects your hard drive and CD device, try pressing enter on auto or user setting to detect your hard drive. Make sure your jumper settings are correct on your hard drive and CD device. You may need an 80 pin connector for your hard drive to motherboard. You may have tried some of these tips already.
