New wireless driver - quick question

The driver for my 2200BG has evidently been corrupted and I'm getting BSOD whenever the wireless connection/antenna is activated. I posted the details of the problem earlier and the consensus is just to reinstall new drivers. I know where on the Intel website to get them, so I have it bookmarked and ready to go.

My question is how I do I go about installing a new driver if I can't connect to the internet on the laptop.

I can obviously download the driver using my PC and put it on a thumb drive. Then I'm not sure what to do from there.

Can anyone give me an idea? The more detailed the better - I'm so-so when it comes to computer surgery.

Thanks everyone.
