Mmmm, not the good news I was hoping for. Luckily I actually have another HD in a third machine but that has Windows 98 on it, so I'll still have to sort out an XP disk. Oh well...

I think I probably will have a go at installing the HD myself, so I'm sure I'll be back begging for help when the time comes, lol. Anyway, thanks for your help Doby, I appreciate your time.
