Even my dogs that were Samoyeed or the Newfoundland didn't shed this bad.

We had a long hair german shepherd cross and a long haired german shepherd thoroughbred and though both dogs dropped hair it was not as bad as Charlotte's very short pointed hair to clean up. It's like little short needles that gets into your clothes.
