Hi,

My Inspiron 9300 all of a sudden stopped recognising the power adapter. It works fine on battery power but does not charge or run directly off the power adapter.
The light on the actual power adapter is always green, when I plug it into the laptop there seems to be a slight clicking noise coming from the laptop which could mean possibly a loose connection.

Does anyone know if this is a known issue? the laptop is about 2.5yrs old.
Or any solutions?

I'll test it with another power adapter when i get one.
