I think the main consideration is the number of drive bays you want or need. Just make sure there are enough for your present items, plus some room for expansion.

The standard ATX tower or mid-towers are the most popular and seem to meet the needs of most of us. I presently have two mid-tower cases and they are right for me. They don't take too much space, but they hold enough drives for anything that I would ever need.

The full towers, while good are pretty darn big IMHO.
