Tech Support Forum - View Single Post - Artifacts on screen after installing graphics card and power supply

I recently purchased an Nvidia 8500 GT for my HP m7680n desktop PC. When everything was done, I noticed that there now were some artifacts or lines next to my icons and between certain contrasts. I asked about it at Best Buy and looked at some suggestions online, and everything pointed to needing a new power supply to support the card. So, I went out and got a Dynex 400-Watt power supply. After that was installed, nothing changed. I still have the lines on my screen. This was not a problem before installing the Graphics card, and power supply so it's not the screen. Any suggestions???
