Hello toxict,
I have some tips for you,
1. Try not put your wireless router near metal, walls, and floors because it will interfere with your router's wireless signals.
2. For wired connection, it is better for you to used router and network adapter (installed on a dekstop pc) from the same vendor.
3. You can try change your default router antenna with a high gain antenna to increase wireless signal strength.
4. Add a wireless repeater, it will help you to extend your wireless signal range.
