Imaging software should take an image of one partition. Have 3 on my main drive and I just image the c: partition, no problems there. Of course, it's up to the software itself. If the included Maxtor software isn't up to the task, there are always alternatives. xxclone comes to mind, though I use commercial software for this, it's a highly recommeded freeware program.
