They farm venison here in NZ and when they were getting the first herds together 'deer wrangling' involved jumping out of helicopters onto, hopefully, exhausted deer & hauling them off mountainsides.
It was our only contribution to Cowboy legend and what did we learn......
Deer don't kill people....helicopters do!
