A bad video card?

Hi! I have a pretty fast computer that i bought a few weeks ago (4Gb RAM, Quad core processor, Vista and DirectX 10 installed) but my games have been lagging a lot. I thought that the problem is probably that my video card isn't good enough, but i can't find a list that compares different video cards. I have an ATI Radeon HD 3650 512MB video card. Do I have to buy a better one if i want to play games like crysis, bioshock etc. with good graphics or is the problem somewhere else?
Thank you for your answers!
