Question Unknown Connection Issues

First off, sorry for the lack of specifics in terms of logs or what not. I'm not quite sure what is wrong with my PC/internet connection.

I have a Netgear Wireless-g WGR614-v9 router and I use a Comcast cable modem. My PC connects to my modem via ethernet cable--while other devices, such as my Nintendo Wii connect to it wirelessly.

Basically, what is happening is that I lose internet acess every ten minutes or so. The network icon continues to say that I am connected locally and also to the internet--but I'm unable to load any webpages, and my wireless accessories are also unable to access the internet.

When I unplug my router and then plug it back in, everything goes back to normal and I'm able to access the internet again for another ten minutes or so. Then it dies out on me.

It's really annoying, but I have no idea what exactly is going on...I didn't change any settings myself, and I don't really know how to check my router settings as the documents I got with the router were damaged and thrown out. :(

Sorry to bog down the forum, but I would appreciate any help.
