have you run a registry cleaner ?
they can & normally do mor harm then they do good !!
here we do not recommend them
now does your cd pk contain one that says (windows operating system ) ?
if so then this would work to do the (sfc) for when you place it into the cd rom it should bring up a window that depics installing windows (splash screen)
