Re: Computer won't start
I did that. :) I also disconnected everything I could: all drives, cards, memory, etc, so that the only thing hooked up to the power supply is the MB(which has the video card built in). Still doesn't start right. I suspect the onboard video card might be going. Everything works fine if i'm just browsing the web, but if I play a graphic heavy game(like World of Warcraft), I run into a lot of video issues. The most serious is where the computer locks up, kicks me back to windows(running in 4 bit), and says that the nvidia device driver stopped responding, and that the computer needs to be rebooted. I can't update the driver at all, since it involves a restart, and since I can't restart it right away, it doesn't install right.
Edit: Just wanted to clarify, the video problems only happen when playing Warcraft. When playing, there's lots of little 'problems'. Flickering, lines appearing and disappearing, water flickering in and out, and framerate won't go any higher then 7 or 8, when it used to be much higher.
