Win32: Trojan-gen

Hi-
I'm using Windows XP and my Avast Home Edition caught the Win32: Trojan-gen. I was only able to put it in the chest--it has not been removed. Just a note, this is my kids' computer, which we use for homeschooling. I did have spybot installed on there, but when I was checking the virus chest in Avast, I notice that the Spybot is not running in the background--the teatimer wasn't running either.

I have run Ewido, which removed all spyware, etc. I have also run ccleaner. Registry Mechanic has also been run.

I'm also getting the error: "Application or DLL c:\windows\system32\msansspc.dll not a valid windows image"

I believe I have followed all of the instructions for what you need for me to have done. I have a dds report and the gmer. I also have downloaded Hijackthis as well.

I'm kind of a novice at the computer stuff, so I appreciate your patience with me. I also appreciate any help that you are able to offer to me as I stated before, we use this computer for school.

Please let me know what else you need from me. Thank you so much.
