I reset the cpu speed on my U8668-D MOBO and now I cannot even get a post to run. Any one know how to go back to the original setting of 100?
My choices were from 100 thru 132. when I set it to 120 it ran fine kind of.. the Proc is a 2.8 GHZ P4, and the bois was reporting it as rinning at 1.4 with the default 100 setting, and 1.6 at the 120 setting. So I kicked it up tp 130 and now no post or video. I pulled the cmos battery out several times. Even left it out for about 7 hours. I moved the jumper right next to the battery to the second setting, the system would not even power up. Returned it to the original jumper setting and was back to no post where I am now. Any Ideas? I believe it is an AMPTRON U8668-D motherboard, the pics I see online are exactly like it. But I cannot fine any manuals on it. Help!!! I am dead in the water and my upgrade from a Celron 1.8 to a P4 2.8 is not going well....
