Hi Hows it hangin'? Ok first off have you or anybody else been fooling around with your floppy? Cause it sounds like to me that your data cable (the flat cable) has been put on backwards. That will make the busy light stay on. Now as far as your burner goes first check the data cable. The cable can just go bad for no reason, if it isn't the cable I'll bet the drive took a crap on ya. I've been repairing computers for around 9 years so that's what i think.
