Hi Bill thanks for the quick response, i reset the bios to default and checked PnP was enabled (it was). Downloaded a new set of drivers (managed to find a slightly newer version made by sonix) uninstalled the old ones rebooted and installed new ones rebooted once more. Then went to the gigabyte website and checked i had the latest bios and chipset which i did (i try to keep it updated as much as possible). Ran MEMTEST86+ with reported no errors. Tried skype again and just as i was getting my hopes up @ a never seen before 24 minutes of non stop chatting the blue screen of doom and gloom was upon me again. Uninstalled newer cam drivers and installed ones from original disc, skype lasted 8 minutes this time. Tried msn again and got another 12 minutes of chatting from that. By then ma bro had to go for his shift at work and i havent tried it since. Darn thing just hates my pc.
