Hi
Have you tried the updated Drivers/Software (XP Drivers)
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...5&swEnvOID=228
Have the scanner disconnected before you install the drivers.
The first driver should be
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...5&mode=4&idx=1
