You see all anti virus softwares... are all different, and have different definition database's. (works on different types of malicious taged signatures)

Not really that only applies during run-time rather than scan-time.

Anti virus's are unreliable. I recommend a virtual workstation. Like VMWARE. Which acts as a virtual/multi operating system. You can run programs on there and it doesn't effect ones operating system, but executes it on another operating system.

Or a emulator like sandboxie, which executes scripts without it effecting the the local host files on a operating system. But still exploitable.
