I use my computer mainly for video editing and although it is quite a good spec for SD video I am thinking about building a new pc in the new year for HD video editing.

However I would like to use my exisiting dual monitor setup and believe that I need a KVM switch box, but I am not familiar with these items.

I am not looking necessarily to network the pcs (or even use them at the same time) as I would keep one just for editing without internet access and the other one for general private/office use but with internet access.

What advice can you give me please on the best way to set this up?
