Ok. That was easy. I deleted the file. As for my computer, it seems to be running much faster now. Pages are not taking forever to load. I haven't used my computer much in the last day but it appears as though the redirect problem is fixed.

I noticed that my internet browse security settings have been changed. (Stuff about viewing over a secure connection and leaving a secure connection) I know all that is probably better for my computer but at what point do I not proceed? How do I know what sites to trust, etc?

I know you said there is more work to be done but when everything is set but when we're through would you mind giving me a quick run-down of the do's and don't's? I really appreciate all you are doing for me.
