Hi, the other day while I was randomly surfing the web.. I came upon a topsite - top100 sort of thing.. and when I went to a website.. well it wasn't as advertised.. it was a download free spyware scanner...
everyone w/ the right common sense.. would realize it was ********.
I realized, but it had downloaded something w/o my consent... don't know what, but ever once in a while.. the UAC and other background programs stop working.. w/ the windows error detaisl.. it says..
Fault Module Name: imon.dll
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: svchost.exe_ProfSvc
so the cause of this crap is imon.dll.. Did a bit of research on the file.. and so it's a security threat and NOD32 can't really detect it..
Should I delete it? Or is there another way around this problem?
Thank you!
