Re: RAdeon on a Nvidia chipset?

While, undoubtably an NVIDIA card will be optimized on an NVIDIA chipset, there is no rule saying that an ATi card shouldn't work on an NVIDIA chipset or an NVIDIA card on an AMD chipset. For a video card you shouldn't have to reinstall the entire OS, just make sure you have removed all instances of any old video drivers, especially if they are NVIDIA drivers before installing the card and its drivers. And don't forget to disable your onboard video when the new card is in, unless you want to use it for dual-monitor support.
