They are legit applications available which allow you to read the asterisks in the password forms you've entered on various websites.
If you don't recall downloading/using one, we should delete the file, and you may want to consider changing online passwords, especially to financial sites, from a different, clean computer.
Using Windows Explorer, or Windows Search, locate and delete this
File:
D:\Profiles\Administrator\dispwd.dll

Open
Notepad and copy/paste the entire contents of the codebox below into Notepad:

notepad log.txt
del log.txt
Save this as
peek.bat and choose to
Save as type: - All Files then close the Notepad file.
It should look like this:
Double-click on
peek.bat and allow it to run. A Notepad file will open. Post the contents of that file in your next reply.

You have remnants of ISS Proventia antivirus on your system. If there is no uninstall entry in Add or Remove Programs, you will have to reinstall it then uninstall it via Add or Remove Programs.
