To provide further information-

I do have all current windows updates, such as SP1.

All of my drivers are the most recent releases. When the system locked up, I looked inside my case to see if anything was not working- All fans/Hardware was still operating as normal. I have two hard drives- WD 150 and a WD 300 running in SATA. So I have a total of 450 gb of memory in HDD's, 3 extra intake fans, and am still stumped on why my pc is doing this.
