Hi Chemist,

Thankyou for your time and help on the problem, the overall system behavior is pretty good since last 2 restarts. There are no longer any IE browser popups taking me to pcvirusremover.com or mediaportal. Application response time is faster too though a bit sluggish at times which is somewhat normal.

There is extremely great improvement in the system which is noticeable.
