And my current memory is 512 MB DDR PC2700. If it has an available memory slot, can I put a 2GB one in there and use both? -- the tool should show you how much your laptop can support. Anything more than that may not work. Also look for PC2700 to be very sure that it works with your unit.

And i'm struggling to find video cards for laptops? Any help? -- most laptops have integrated video cards (part of mobo). I am not familiar with your model, so you might check your specs or call Advent to know if it is integrated or not.
