I keep the same address for months at a time, then it'll change for seemingly no reason. I don't spend any time worrying about it.
Maybe you could tell us more about the issues you're having...

Thanks John,
I don't think "there is no circuitry there" , and I don't think it is "just a punch down jack" like what I found here
http://www.vpi.us/installation/inst-jck-vert.html
You see, the puch down is connected to a circuit board, also while I had this jack connected I was unable to keep my screen saver going. Once I put a normal jack (one without a circuit board) I was able to keep the scree saver going without interruption.
My issues are basically I don't have control over my computers. Even my email is interferred with. I have a few different email address's and some of them take many hours to receive an email from another. I have tested. As recently as yesterday I had a computer forum reject my membership because their email came back to them.
I also have been tied into someone elses network which has me connected to many colleges and to a large governemental agency. When I contacted some of the connected systems I only received communication back from the governmental agency. They were very helpful, as they even documented their opinion which was that they were not on my network, but it appeared I was attempting to hack into theirs. They furthermore, explained that the colleges would not be responding because it looked like "I was the bad guy", aka, hacker.
So bascically I have had corruption out the *** with my computer over the past several years, with several ISP's. Through dialup, which download was at about 50 kbps and upload was at about 400 kbps. Who has ever heard of that?

Cable, showing that I was running into their system through someone elses router, my router was not communicating with them at all. AT&T Uverse, well they are the least informative. The other ISP's seemed to be able to inform me more than they can. Their level 2 support is the highest, Cable's level 3 was much better.
I have learned quite a bit about computer corruption throughout this whole deal and for anyone who thinks they are having issues, I would be more than happy to help you to figure things out.
Also, AT&T told me yesterday, that I did not need to use the jack with a circuit board, and they didn't know why I had one. So I changed it and Iwill have to do some re- formatting and different secuirty measures with their RG in order to do further checking for corruption.
As far as ther RG, I was given information in writing that their RG was rated #1 by JD Power & Assoc. for security and it changes IP every 60 seconds. So, now I just want to know why JD Power & Asdsoc. rated it so high?

If their IP is associated with the mac, the way they explained it to me, then it will never change and I don't call that dynamic. So, if your's is changing please tell me how, as according to them, it will not, unless you switch out the RG (residential gateway).
Thank you for your consideration.
