dai: ah ok, fair enough, but the psu's do work perfectly on a friend'a pc. If i can get another one i'll try.

PcTestCard.com: Tried resetting the bios with the whole process, nothing, just the bare bones components, nothing. I cant flash the bios because i can't use any device like cd or usb memory, can't even get to that.

The motherboard is a year and 1/2 old, maybe reaching 2 but not quite. I expected a longer life span, i checked but can't find any damaged caps.

The error code leds now just randomly displays lines without shape of letters or numbers, i think the board is toast. Even in EVGA's site they recommended i replace it. Think i'll just bite the bullet.
