I would like to upgrade this portion also. But not quite sure how the rite way to do so.
1) can I upgrade the processor without upgrading the motherboard?
2) Is a Motherboard upgrade need also , and which motherbaord would be recommended?
3) Price is a factor; was looking at a slight upgrade if possible in syetem speed when playing (Madden) in particular.
4) Is a Different case part of the answer? as stated above??

Wondering if this processor would be compatable with my motherboard or what would be required to get that quicker results?

The Intel 3.0/800/1MB processor is not compatible with the dell motherboard. If I am correct, this MB can only handle a 400MHz FSB processor. You may have to swap out MB to get a faster processor. Another problem I think you may have is I don't think this MB has an AGP slot for a better graphics card. You may have to use a PCI graphics card.
