The brand and model number are all I need, I see it's a laptop,
If the memory did work at one time and now does not then either 1 stick has gone bad
or become unseated, or lastly it's a problem with the socket.
Have you tried testing 1 stick at a time?
Sodimm's can be tough to get properly seated at times and will come loose from a jolt that laptops get sometimes.
I say to try putting the known good stick into the other slot if you haven't already done so.
These are the beep codes you have described
Three short beeps, pause, three more short beeps, and one short beep.
1. DIMM.
2. System board

So it either a bad memory stick or a bad board.
