Hi 2odd

Can you check whether your laptop have a brighten and darken button on the keyboard? It should have a symbol like a sun in the F button, whether F5 or F6. Try to press that button to activate the light or dark mode of your screen

Note:-
Sometimes you have to press a combination of button to activate the function, maybe like a Fn button or Ctrl button together.
