Just to clarify, you were able to download ComboFix, but not the Recovery Console package, is that correct?

Let's see if it is indeed installed. If you see it as a boot option at startup, it quite possibly is. Most users do not have RC installed.

Please download BootCheck.exe to your desktop.

Double click BootCheck.exe to run the check
When complete, a Notepad window will open with some text in it
Save the Notepad file to your desktop as BootCheck.txt
Copy the contents of BootCheck.txt and post it in your next reply
