Re: Please Help!!! [PCChip p23g v3, no Boot, no POST, no Signal]

Hello Stu_Computer, thanks for the welcoming, and thanks for the reply, i really apreciate it.

- When clearing the CMOS, i removed all the power cables, set the jumper to he CLEAR configuration (pins 2-3) for 10 minutes, then i set it back to the NORMAL configurtation (pins 1-2), i plugged every back in its site, powered up the machine, and nothing happen, i press and holded the DEL button, but nothing happen, the monitor still says "no signal". right now im working and i can't check to see what happens if i press the F1 button, but as soon as i get home ill try that.

- I bought two DDR2 sticks ( each for 1 GB) and push them into their corresponding socket ( the first two red ones ), i had to apply a decent/hard force to push them into the socket. they are firmly installed in the sockets, with the two locks set correctly for each. as far as the speaker, my case's speaker has a different type of cabling (four pin) and im not sure if i should install it on the board ( i did tried but no sounds no beeps or anything when i power it up)

- I tried everything; with-without HD ( the HD is still connected to the Power supply, and it spins its powered), I alse disconnected everything else it was connected, the Ethernet, the Video card, the floppy etc... and left only the board, the cpu, the cpu fan, the monitor, the momory, and a keyboard, but no changes.

- I have not done the Bench test, but the chasis has a few of those (I forgot how they are called) "sepparators" screws, on the chasis. As soon as i get home I'll try the bench test anyways..

- Before mounting the CPU fan, I applied the the thermal paste on top of the CPU.

- The old psu had to be replace due to that the CPU fan case was broken and it was impossible to keep it close to the CPU, it ended up damaging my CPU ( burning a couple of the possesor's pin ). The board was old, and the possesor was slow too.. before all this happen, i had to replace the power supply for it because the older one burn out, and it wouldn't turn on, so pretty much the power supply is almost new.

- As soon as i get home I'll post more information about the psu, try some of your solutions, and get back to you.

Once again, Thank you Stu_computer very very very much...

Regards
